BRUTTIUM. Lokroi Epizephyrioi. Circa 287-278 BC. AE (Bronze, 28 mm, 11.74 g, 3 h). Head of Persephone to right, her hair loosely gathered with a ribbon; in field to left, lighted torch. Rev. ΛΟΚΡΩΝ Eagle standing left on thunderbolt with wings closed; in field to left, monogram; in field to right, filleted palm branch. HGC 1, 1578. HN Italy 2374. SNG ANS 560-1. Attraktive light green patina. Minor flan fault on the obverse and light roughness on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
